Medical aid

The following aids relate to the first three months after birth.

Paediatrician:

In Germany all children undergo regular medical examinations in their first years of life. This serves to an early screening and treatment of health issues. These medical check-ups are obligatory. They are conducted by a paediatrician. After birth you will get a yellow booklet, where all these medical check-ups are documented.

Midwife:

In the first two months after birth the midwife also takes care of the healthy development of the child. There is an open midwife consultation hour:
